Delaware Department of Transportation Nicole Majeski Secretary Lewes Bike Plan & Georgetown-Lewes Trail Notice of Public Open House Lewes Public Library 111 Adams Avenue Lewes, DE 19958 Thursday, June 15, 2023 Drop in any time between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. PUBLIC NOTICE Lewes - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), City of Lewes, and Lewes Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee invite you to the Lewes Bike Plan & Georgetown-Lewes Trail Open House on Thursday, June 15, 2023, beginning at 4:30 pm at the Lewes Public Library large meeting room, located at 111 Adams Avenue, Lewes, DE 19958. Members of the public are welcome to drop in any time between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. This focus of the Plan is the area within the municipal limits of the City of Lewes. The update regarding the Georgetown-Lewes Trail will focus on the alignment and amenities for the remaining section of trail between Airport Road and Fisher Road. The Open House will provide: • An introduction to the preliminary vision and goals for the Plan and opportunity to provide feedback • An overview of the existing bike network and funded network improvements, including the next phase of the Georgetown-Lewes Trail • An opportunity to provide ideas for future bicycle improvements Meeting materials, including a public survey, will be posted online at the Lewes Bike Plan Engagement hub publicinput.com/lewesbikeplan.
