The Town of Georgetown has one (1) position available to serve on the Board of Adjustment for the completion of a three-year term expiring June 2028. Each Board Member must be a resident of the Town of Georgetown and knowledgeable of the issues and problems of urban and rural planning and development. The Board hears and decides appeals regarding special exceptions, variances, and where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative official in the administration or enforcement of Chapter 230 of the Town Code, known as the Zoning Code. The Board of Adjustment conducts regular meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m., if applicable. If you are interested in the position, please submit a completed ‘Committee Interest Form’ to the Community Development Department no later than August 14, 2026 at noon. The form to be completed can be found at the bottom of this notice, under 'Additional Resources,' or picked up at the Town Administrative Office.
