40.0° FA person who has attained the age of eighteen (18) years on the date of the Annual Municipal Election and who shall be a bona fide resident of the Town of Georgetown shall have one (1) vote, provided he or she is registered with the Town of Georgetown.
A person may register to vote until the close of business on the last Friday in April prior to the date of the election.
A person shall be required to register only one time: provided, however that if a registered voter fails to vote in two (2) consecutive Annual Municipal Elections in which there is a contest, his or her name shall be removed from the Voter Registration files, and that it will be necessary to register again in order to be eligible to vote in the Annual Election.
Please Note: If you are a registered voter with the State of Delaware, it is still necessary to register with the Town of Georgetown.
