Joseph Harmon
Patrolman Joseph "Brad" Harmon graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education with an emphasis Economics from West Virginia University. In 2004, he graduated from the Delaware State Police Academy. At the academy Ptlm. Harmon was awarded the Police Chief's Council Award as well as the Academic Award from the Delaware State's Attorney. Ptlm. Harmon served as a police officer for the City of Milford Police Department for 3 1/2 years before joining the Georgetown Police Department in August of 2007. During his tenure as a police officer, Ptlm. Harmon has received two years of awards from Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his active dedication to the enforcement of drivers driving under the influence. In addition to being assigned to the Patrol Unit, Ptlmn. Harmon is also a member of the Emergency Response Team. He is trained in DUI enforcement, Gang knowledge and identifying gang and gang activity and accident reconstruction.
